Greetings Diana:
The team is looking forward to working SSB on 40 meters. We most always operate split frequency. The transmit frequencies are listed on the web site; on 40 meters SSB we will be on 7168 Khz and listening “UP”. Typically, we will listen “up” over a range that will extend into the frequencies General Class are permitted. Thank you for signing in and we are looking forward to working you.

"Prevet" Andrei. Thanks you for signing the CY0 guestbook.
It will be very special for us to work UA0, Zone 18. In 1989, I was a member of US0SU. We operated from Pevek and Ayon Island in the Arctic. I made many friend from UA0, such as UA0KK, UA0IDX, UA0ICC, UA0KBO, UA0UZ, UA0KAL, UA0KB, UA0IC, UA0KCW, and UA0KO.
Please let others in Russia, especially in UA0, know of our dxpedition to CY0. We will listen for your signal.
Spasiba.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for "signing" the Guestbook and for making a contribution to the dxpedition. In a little over four months, we will be heading to Sable Island. Still working on antenna details. Optimistic that we will see an upturn in propagation in October. Look forward to working you on 160-30M.
Thanks again,
Ron, AA4VK

Hi Gary, "Senior Advisor for Canadian Logistics and Affairs-CY0"
Thanks for "signing" the Guestbook. I just wanted to jump in, on behalf of the CY0 Team, and thank you and the other members of the Halifax Amateur Radio Club (HARC) for your hospitality and logistical support in helping us to navagate the Canadian customs processes. We are especially appreciative for the help you guys have offered in making Halifax a great "departure point" to Sable Island. We are all looking forward to meeting you and other members of the HARC in October, if not sooner.
Thanks again. Ron, AA4VK

Thanks Paul for your contribution to the DXpedition via our "PayPal Button". It came through with no problems. Also, thanks for your entry to the Guestbook in 2009.
You may be aware that we just announced "tentative" dates which will include the period of the CQWW SSB Contest. Our purpose during the contest will be to provide a multiplier to others, not to generate a big score for ourselves. We will look for you before and during the contest. Thanks again for your contribution.

as a member of k5d-desecheo 2009,i know at first hand how complicate can be an operation like yours.last minute change of plans,weather,transportation,etc.etc.but that serves to encourage the team to work hard, and, at the end, proudiness and satisfacion.
good luck guys, hope that god will be with you,and hope i can make contact with you then.

Hello Eladio:
Thank you for the good wishes; mentioning your participation as a member of the 2009 KP5 team brings back fond memories. Our team in 1992 stayed in Mayagüez prior to our travel over to Desecheo. We enjoyed the hospitality of KP4RF and others from your beautiful QTH. Myself and two others of that team, WA4DAN and AA4VK as well members the KP1 team also in 1992. Both of these skilled and experienced operators will be on this Dxpedtion, plus we added a AI5P who has operated from more than 70 DXCC entities. Sable is going to be exciting for us and we will be looking forward to working you and many other DX’ers from KP4 as well. We will appreciate your assistance in telling others about this website and the Dxpedition. Thank you and see you in the pileups.

It’s good to see you on the web, Rick. Yes, travel to Sable is unique and we need a fairly compact and dry beach to land on as there are no landing strips/airport. We will be looking for you in order to assure your Band/Mode needs are met. I am certain that we will make contact with you on 30/17. We are hoping for the necessary uptick in solar propagation for both 12 and 10 meter openings and we will be monitoring condx carefully. Thanks for checking in.
